Jaws is my favourite film. I still remember watching it on ITV in 1981. It scared the life out of me and instantly became my favourite film, a sentiment that has remained unchanged to this day. Here is my tribute poster to the greatest movie of all time celebrating the 50th anniversary of its release.

Alternative poster for Tim Burtons 1988 classic comedy horror Beetlejuice starring Michael Keaton, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin and Winona Ryder.
This piece was created for the Good On Paper Film Posters Reinterpreted 80’s exhibition. The only brief was it had to be any film from the 1980’s. I chose Beetlejuice!

Saint Maud Alternative Poster by Mark Levy Art
A24 Saint Maud now streaming in the UK. I was blown away by it. An incredibly dark, terrifying debut from Rose Glass, and Morfydd Clark is electrifying. Go watch now, if you're brave enough. Using imagery and colours inspired by both the film and William Blake I just had to create this Alternative movie poster.
Client: Terror Twos
I was invited to take part in the TerrorTwos project. The poster I’ve decised to create is Joe Dante's brilliantly bonkers GREMLINS 2: THE NEW BATCH. Showing that every rule can be broken with cartoonish gags, refs to other films and 4th wall breaking. Hell, even the film reel breaks at one point. Ingenious.⠀

Tokyo Story⠀
Now I have a subscription to the BFI streaming service I finally made the time to watch this 1953 Japanese classic about family life in Tokyo. This is such an elegant film with a deliberate pace, filled with nuance and humanity. It's melancholy tone is frequently punctuated by humour and beauty. The stand out is Setsuko Hara, who is the true heart of the film.⠀

Client: Poster Posse
As a very young lad watching this for the first time was a mind blowing experience. That sense of wonder and excitement has never diminished, even after countless viewingS. Thanks to Poster Posse for inviting me to join them in celebrating this classic’s 45th birthday!

Concerns that the "one shot" filming technique would take me out of the film soon evaporated as I became increasingly engrossed in the story of these two young soldiers sent on a very simple mission to get a letter to the front line. Amazing set pieces, heartfelt performances and just great story telling.⠀

Here’s my Spider-Man artwork I created using a combination of Blender and Procreate. Trying to incorporate 3D work more.
I used Blender to create the background. For Spidey himself I used Daz 3D get the pose and exported that to Procreate where I roughly painted on the costume using their new 3D painting tools. I then imported the figure into the Blender file with the street view to work out my lighting . Spiderman was then completely redrawn and painted in Procreate. I then used Procreate perspective blur to create the motion lines of the lights.

I was very excited to have been invited to participate in The Poster Posse tribute to all things Netflix. I chose to create posters for The Crown and The OA. Both shows are shinning examples of the diverse range of genres Netflix have on offer.
I created two variants for The OA. One that leans into the science fiction elements of the show and the other that is a homage to Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij first film together, the brilliant Sound Of My Voice.

I was lucky enough to be invited to join the Poster Posse’s latest Passion Project, "See Me, Hear Me". Artist's were asked to create a Spotify playlist and custom cover art. Check out the Poster Posse website to see and hear all the artist contributions.
